GULLIVER S.R.L., with registered office in Via Orzinuovi 73 25125 Brescia P.I. 03559600170 (hereinafter the ‘Owner’), pursuant to EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter the ‘Regulation’ or GDPR) is required to provide certain information regarding the use of personal data collected and processed through this website. 

This information is provided for the website www.gullivernet.com (hereinafter the ‘Website’), and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user through links, and is an integral part of the Website and the services we offer; the information is provided pursuant to Article 13 of the Regulation to those who interact with the Website's web services. 

You can contact us by sending an e-mail to privacy@gullivernet.com for questions and comments to request the updated list of the Data Processors appointed by the Data Controller, or for any request relating to any of your personal data rights. To contact the DPO appointed by the company you can instead write to dpo@gullivernet.com.   

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the legal provisions of the Regulation and the confidentiality obligations set out therein. Your personal data will therefore be processed in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, purpose limitation and storage, minimisation and accuracy, integrity and confidentiality, as well as with the principle of accountability set out in Article 5 of the Regulation. 

 

What types of personal data do we collect? 

Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment. This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct operation. For this purpose, the last triplet of IP addresses of visitors/navigators to the portal is masked before the navigation data is saved to the management database. 

 

Data provided voluntarily by the user 

Contact section and sending mail to addresses proposed by the site 

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of personal data in the ‘Contact’ section (first name, last name, e-mail address and telephone number) as well as any other personal data included in the message will be processed exclusively for purposes strictly related to the request (e.g. replying to enquiries sent). Without prejudice to any processing required by law, any other purpose is excluded. 

 

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the e-mail addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address by the Data Controller, as well as any other personal data included in the message (including any Curricula Vitae for spontaneous candidature), necessary for the purpose of replying to specific requests addressed to the Data Controller.

Purpose and legal basis of processing 

Personal data will be processed for the following purposes: 

  1. Operational management and strictly related purposes for access to the website; the legal basis for processing is consent and/or execution of a contract. 
  2. Processing for statistical purposes in anonymous and aggregate form on the use of the site and control of its correct functioning. The legal basis of the processing is consent or the legitimate interest of the Data Controller. 
  3. Fulfilment of any obligations under applicable laws, regulations or EU legislation, fulfilment of requests from the authorities. The legal basis for the processing is the fulfilment of a legal obligation. 
  4. Purposes functional to the request for information. The legal basis of the processing is the consent of the data subject. 

  

Nature of data provision and consequences of refusal 

Although the provision of personal data is not compulsory, it may be indispensable in order for the site to function and/or for our services to be provided. 

In particular, for the purposes referred to in point d) the provision of data is always optional; you may therefore decide not to provide any data or to subsequently deny the possibility of processing data already provided, revoking at any time the consent already given by sending a specific request to the Data Controller in the manner described in this information notice. However, denying consent may make it impossible to acquire your data and thus to respond to your requests.  


Treatment modalities and timing 

Your personal data will be processed with the aid of automated paper and/or computer tools, by our authorised processing personnel or by any data processors appointed pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR (such as, by way of example: professionals, professional legal firms). 

For as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are collected or for any other legitimate related purposes (unless you withdraw your consent). At the end of this period, the data will be retained to comply with specific regulatory or contractual obligations, as well as for administrative purposes and/or to assert or defend a right, in the event of litigation and pre-litigation.  

In any case, the Data Controller undertakes to adopt appropriate technical and organisational security measures to prevent the destruction or loss of data, any unauthorised use and unauthorised access, pursuant to Article 32 of the GDPR. 

Your data will not be disclosed in any way, but may be communicated to third parties to whom disclosure is required by law (such as competent administrative and judicial authorities, national and/or international public authorities who are entitled to do so). 

No automated decision-making processes, including profiling as referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) EU Reg. 2016/679, are envisaged as part of the processing. 


Transfer of personal data 

Personal data are currently not transferred to countries outside the European Union.  In any case, should the Controller transfer the data to countries outside the EU, the Controller hereby ensures that the transfer will take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions. 

 

Rights of the data subject 

As a data subject, you may contact the data controller to assert your rights, as provided for in Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation, which are set out below: 


  • the right to ask the data controller for access to personal data (Article 15); 
  • the right to ask the data controller for rectification (Art. 16); 
  • the right to ask the data controller to delete personal data (Art. 17); 
  • the right to ask the data controller to restrict the processing of your personal data (Art. 18) 
  • right to data portability (Art. 20); 
  • the right to object to processing (Art. 21) 
  • right in relation to automated decision-making processes (Art. 22). 
  • If the processing is based on Article 6(1)(a), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation. 

  • You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.  


    Changes to the Privacy Policy 

    We may occasionally make changes to this Policy. If we make substantial changes, we will provide you with a clear and conspicuous notice so that you are always up-to-date on these matters.
